With over 20 years of experience working on both the supplier and distributor sides, I understand the needs of my clients from ideation to completion. I have worked with some of the biggest brands in the world developing incentive programs and driving brand awareness. With excellent sources both domestically and overseas, I can deliver anything from the simplest off the shelf product to the most complex private label custom project.
Alice started in the hospitality industry where she developed a strong foundation in customer service. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Douglass College, Rutgers University she moved into management. She has over 25 years of management experience in the following industries: hospitality, legal publishing and venture capital.
Like my friend Duane (Watlington, Active Imprints’ CEO), I started printing T-shirts to earn money as a teenager. In my case, I was a sophomore in high school. My favorite part has always been designing and creating, and that soon became my lifelong pursuit. First, focusing on art classes in high school, then studying illustration at commercial art school. Taking someone’s idea and giving it life beyond what they ever imagined is most satisfying. For more than thirty years, since before adulthood, commercial art and design has been my primary source of income.
Duane started printing T-shirts in his Grandmother’s garage when he was 16 years old! Now, 30+ years later, that T-shirt business has grown into a multi-million dollar Branded Merchandise Agency! Using his street smarts, business education, and entrepreneurial spirit, Duane has assembled a team of trusted experts to serve the promotional and branding needs of our clients.
Desperate to get into advertising, I wrote a cover letter the local advertising agency could not ignore. I was hired as a client services representative, taking advertising budgets and figuring out how to spend them to get the highest return on investment. For some reason, the call ins for promotional products always made their way to my desk and before long I was promoted to an account executive selling both magazine advertisements and promotional products.
As a former customer of Active Imprints, Marti knew that she was joining a team that delivers on the promise of top quality marketing solutions that exceed their client's expectations. She brings a combined 15 years of marketing and large client account management skills to her role with Active Imprints.
Her long term client relationships include FedEx, BASF, Movado, PSE&G, UBS AG, NJ Manufacturer's Ins., Brooks Automation, Bank of New York, Nationwide Ins., Wells Fargo, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and AT&T.
With over 25 years of experience, all at Active Imprints, Steve has seen and done it all! From printing and production management in the screen printing department to managing Global customer’s most important marketing campaigns, Steve has the experience and knows how to get things done. His industry knowledge sets him apart from the rest because he understands the technical aspect of each project that lends him the forethought of what will replicate well. Steve offers his clients knowledgeable solutions that deliver a high ROI while at the same time generating unprecedented excitement from their targeted audience. Steve is determined to make each client project his own masterpiece.
Steve has over 12 years of experience in the promotional products industry. He has spent those years working in the receiving, screen printing and purchasing departments. His favorite part of the job? Steve loves to problem solve. “Being able to work together on a problem and solve the issue with my colleagues is by far my favorite aspect of the job”. Steve is also a member of the local Volunteer Fire Department and an avid NY Giants fan.
Taylor has loved drawing and art for as long as she can remember. She decided to make it a career in High School when she took her first Graphic Design class. This particular form of art grabbed her because the idea of helping others bring their ideas to life seemed like the perfect fit. Taylor worked from high school up to studying the art of Graphic Design at Kean University. Now she gets to help create products, graphics and art for people every day.
Hobbies: Crocheting, Comic books, Music, and animation.
Violetta joined the Active Imprints team during the summer of 2011. During her first three years, she was an integral part of our success, working directly with Steve Bove, on some of our biggest projects. Her attention to detail, dedication to customer service and “never quit” work ethic landed her a promotion to Account Executive in 2014. She understands that every project is different, which is why she strives to understand the ultimate goal for each and every one of her clients.
